Anything that your child may require access to while homework should be conveniently accessible so that he does not have to hunt around for it.

3. Remove the Distractions

If the study place is the dining room table and there is a TV nearby, make sure it is turned off. If the space is near a window and the falling leaves are too distracting, switch locations or consider relocating. But don’t be too strict; some people work best with a little background noise, such as a radio playing gently in the background.
